Girona

It is the capital of the province of Girona with 96,000 inhabitants. Its origins are Roman of the 1 century BC although the area was already inhabited by the Indigetes when the early Romans arrived. The main attractions of the old town are the camí de ronda along the remnants of the Carolingian wall, the Cathedral , the Arab Baths and the Call, which is the old Jewish quarter and one of the best preserved medieval centers in Europe. Among the cultural offer we must highlight the Girona Art Museum , the Archaelogical Museum located in the Abbey of Sant Pere Galligants and the Cinema Museum . Distance: 45 Km.
