Medical service

Doctor Rachel has her own private doctor’s office on the campsite. During the high season she opens everyday and stays until she has seen the last patient waiting. In the low season the doctor visits on demand. Just ask at reception.

The nearest 24 hour medical post is the CAP in l’Escala at only 6 km from Camping Las Dunas

The nearest hospital is in Figueres, at 25 km from the campsite.

In case of a medical emergency during your stay on Camping Las Dunas, please inform the campsite staff or reception. If an ambulance must come, they know best how to make the call and direct the ambulance to the location of the incident.

Route description

From the motorway AP-7, take exit nr. 5. Although the route from exit 4 may seem quicker, it leads you through the village of Sant Pere Pescador and over the narrow bridge over the river Fluvià. Therefore we do not recommend this route if you travel by motorhome or with a caravan.

After having taken exit nr. 5 on the motorway AP-7, turn left onto road nr. GI-623, following directions to l’Escala | Empúries.
Stay on road nr. GI-623 for 17,5 km, pass the towns of Camallera, Ventalló and Viladamat until you reach the roundabout by the tourist office at the entrance of the town of l’Escala
On the roundabout by the tourist office, turn left and take road nr. GIP-6307, following directions to St. Martí d’Empúries | platges
Keep going straight on the roundabout at Sant Martí d’Empúries and keep following road nr. GIP-6307, following directions to Sant Pere Pescador
Stay on road nr. GIP-6307 for another 3 km and you will have arrived at Camping Las Dunas

Shuttle service airport Girona – Costa Brava

Camping Las Dunas offers a free shuttle service between the camping and Girona airport or Figueres railway station to all guests who have booked a bungalow in the low season for a week or longer. Other camping guests can also use the shuttle service, but have to pay the driver directly, in those cases the service is not free. Contact the Las Dunas reception to know if you can apply for the free shuttle service, or for the current rates if that is not the case. Bicycles

You can rent many different models of bicycles on Las Dunas. City bikes and mountain bikes are usually available on site. Just pick your bike, sign the contract and cycle away. On demand Las Dunas can also supply special models like e-bikes, road race bikes or tandems. The bicycle rental is at the minigolf bar next to the tennis courts. Car rental
